Just moments ago, in a deeply emotional televised address from Kensington Palace, Kate looked directly into the camera, her eyes glistening, as she began, “It’s time I tell you everything… because you deserve to know, and I no longer want to hide.”

 

“The type of cancer I have is actually lymphoma. It was not easy to hear those words from my doctors, nor is it easy to say them now. But I want to be completely open with all of you who have given me so much love and strength.”

Kate explained that after several months of unexplained fatigue and recurring infections, her medical team finally identified early-stage lymphoma. While the prognosis is considered hopeful, she admitted the journey ahead will be long and uncertain.
